No deal on Solvency II at EU talks - diplomats
LUXEMBOURG, Oct 7 (Reuters) - European Union finance ministers failed on Tuesday to reach a deal on the so-called "Solvency II" package of proposed reforms on arrangements for the bloc's insurance sector, diplomats said.
"There is no deal on Solvency II, so it's back to the ambassadors, but France wants ministers to discuss it again in November," a diplomat said of possible next steps by EU president France to secure agreement. (Reporting by Huw Jones; writing by Mark John)
