Motiva says Port Arthur eyes full rates next weekend
NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Shell Oil's (RDSa.L) joint-venture Motiva Enterprises 285,000 barrel-per-day Port Arthur, Texas, refinery expected to hit full rates next weekend, after being shut for Hurricane Ike, a spokeswoman said Monday.
"We're just slightly short of being at normal rates, we are very close. I expect by the weekend we will be at full rates," Verna Rutherford, a spokeswoman for Motiva, told Reuters.
On Friday, Motiva had said the refinery should reach full rates sometime early this week. (Reporting by Haitham Haddadin; Editing by John Picinich)
