NEW YORK (Reuters) - The postponed light-heavyweight fight between Britain's Joe Calzaghe and American Roy Jones Jr will now be held on November 8, organisers said on Thursday.

The Madison Square Garden bout had originally been scheduled for September 20 but was put back when Calzaghe injured his right hand in training in July.

Welshman Calzaghe, 36, whose 45-0 record includes 32 wins inside the distance, beat Bernard Hopkins on a split decision in his last fight in April.

Jones, an eight-times world champion in four weight classes, has a 52-4 record including 38 stoppages.

The 39-year-old won a unanimous decision over Felix Trinidad in his last bout in January.

The November 8 fight, for The Ring magazine's light-heavyweight crown, is likely to bring down the curtain on the careers of both men.
