Rugby union - Australia flyhalf Matt Giteau has told English rugby officials there was no need to apologise for the behaviour of their fans at last weekend's Cook Cup test at Twickenham.

England RFU boss Brian Brian Williams apologised to the Australian High Commission in London after English fans booed Giteau when he was taking his shots at goal.

New Zealand retained the same lineup that accounted for England 32-22.

Soccer - AC Milan are interested in Fluminense's Brazil defender Thiago Silva, chief executive Adriano Galliani told reporters.
