Euro falls 3 percent against yen as US stocks fall

NEW YORK, Dec 1 (Reuters) - The euro extended declines to fall 3 percent against the yen on Monday as U.S. stocks accelerated losses on Wall Street, prompting investors to sell riskier assets.

The euro fell as low as 117.46 yen and last traded 3.1 percent lower at 117.53 yen <EURJPY=>. (Reporting by Wanfeng Zhou; Editing by Tom Hals)
